Guide to submitting job adverts

Please do not send job adverts to us by email or by using the forms on the old website - we may not receive them.

Use the W4MP job submission form to enter all the information about the post(s) you are advertising. The new form has several new features which are designed to make the task of submitting an ad easier for you:

Three new WYSIWYG boxes, enabling you to submit the text as you want it to appear in the ad
Ability to preview and amend your ad before you submit it to us for publishing
Calendar to select the closing date
Clearer information about the location of the post advertised so applicants can search by location
Ability to distinguish between posts which pay above or below National Minimum Wage

Please follow the instructions on the form as otherwise information may not be recorded correctly and this could delay the posting of your ad. You need to complete all the fields before the ad can be submitted.

Text pasted into Notepad and then transferred into the ad from there gets rid of many of the formatting problems that occur when copying and pasting directly from Word or the web.

You’ll find a re-CAPTCHA at the end of the form which will protect us from spam.

This is a free service to you so PLEASE keep details AS BRIEF AS POSSIBLE! If you are already advertising the post on your own website, best to submit basic details to us with a link to full info on your website.

At present we do not charge for placing your ad. This is part of a service to MPs and their Staff and while we are here primarily to serve them, we welcome all ads which have a political dimension. If you work within Parliament (MPs, Peers, House Departments, etc) or are involved in the Westminster village or the political landscape beyond you will find your job ad on W4MP attracts many excellent applicants. Similarly, we welcome ads from organisations/companies/etc seeking to recruit people who have experience of working within Parliament. To clarify - we don't charge for any ads.
