Insight Public Affairs (IPA) is an award winning political consultancy based in London’s Victoria which provides government and parliamentary relations advice to FTSE100 companies, leading charities, trade associations and others high-profile clients. IPA has established a first-class pedigree in successfully developing and executing innovative results-focused public affairs programmes in order to deliver strategic change. Our services include political consultancy, media relations, event management and senior executive training.

IPA is seeking highly enthusiastic and appropriately qualified candidates for its internship programme taking place over a fixed time period. The internships are run on a competitive basis; a number of former interns have successfully gone on to secure full-time permanent roles as Account Executives by demonstrating exceptional ability throughout the programme.

Candidates must demonstrate:

• A significant interest and understanding of the UK political landscape and climate
• An ability to thrive in a fast-moving and high-intensity working environment
• Excellent organisational, writing, IT and communication skills
• A strong academic record

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage:

• Parliament
• UK mainstream political parties
• Journalism or media
• Think tank
• Civil Service

The programme will involve working in:

• Political researching
• Media analysis
• Event organisation
• Administrative support
