Dr Sarah Wollaston MP is looking to appoint an intern for her Westminster office for a period of 4 months.

Key responsibilities:

  • General administrative tasks.
  • Assisting the office with policy correspondence.
  • Assisting with policy research, projects and campaigns.
  • Helping other colleagues as required

Candidates should have the following skills and qualities:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Well organised and reliable
  • Capable of producing high quality written work
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Experience of dealing with members of the public is desirable
  • A good knowledge of the constituency would be beneficial

The successful candidate should also be committed to the Conservative Party and its values.

Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
