Following the Secretary of State for Transport’s announcement, High Speed Two Limited (HS2 Ltd) is proceeding to the implementation stage of this transformational infrastructure project which will initially link London and Birmingham. As such, we are now seeking a number of Area Stakeholder Managers and Advisers to join the implementation team.

As part of the Community Liaison and Stakeholder Management Team, you will be central in engaging with local authorities, communities and stakeholders across the London West Midlands Route of the HS2 project, from inception to completion. You will play a pivotal role in working with local communities, HS2 area engineers and environmentalists, to identify local priorities and explore opportunities for developing local community benefits and brokering solutions.

For these key roles, you are likely to have gained extensive experience of being involved in large-scale community forums for major public sector infrastructure or environmentally-based projects involving sensitive and complex issues.

Excellent communications, networking and negotiation skills will be key, as will your project management experience. Your ability to work as part of a close-knit team is essential.
