Simon Wright MP is looking for one full-time caseworker for his constituency office in Norwich.
The successful applicant will have strong communication, IT and organisational skills, enjoy working in a busy office environment, have a good sense of humour, be a team player and possess enthusiasm for the job in hand. Previous office experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
Key responsibilities include:
• Dealing with constituents, either in person, by writing, or over the telephone
• Providing information and advice for constituents on a range of areas, including subjects such as housing, healthcare and financial matters
• Liaising with local authorities, government agencies and the voluntary sector in order to resolve issues
• Drafting correspondence
• The role will also include other office duties such as occasional audio-typing and a small amount of filing.
