Job Details

ICYE UK is an ethical International Volunteer organisation which sends volunteers throughout Latin America, Africa and Asia and also hosts volunteers in the UK. ICYE UK has been recognised by UNESCO and is a UN Peace Messenger.

ICYE UK is currently recruiting dedicated volunteers for placements in Latin America, Asia and Africa with local NGOs. Placements include supporting street children, HIV and AIDS awareness, education, environmental conservation, women's refuge placements, health care projects and
many more. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who would like to learn about living in another country and gain valuable skills through supporting the work of a small NGO.

We can find placements to fit the skills and interests of those over 18 who would like to volunteer for either 6 or 12 months, departing in August 2012 or January 2013. A full list of projects is available to choose from at www.icye.org.

ICYE UK provides volunteers with extensive training pre-departure and language lessons, training on arrival and full support from the local ICYE office throughout your stay, as well as fundraising support towards the programme fee and the opportunity to apply for our bursaries of £1500.

To talk about projects which might suit you, please contact the ICYE UK office today. You can also book a place for the next free ICYE UK Information day on April 28th (12-4pm) or May 26th (12-4pm) at our office in Kilburn, North London.

To see a full list of projects or to talk about how the projects might suit your interests, please email international@icye.org.uk.
