The Franco-British Council was created when Britain joined the European Community in 1972. Its aim is to promote better understanding between Britain and France and to contribute to the development of joint action through seminars and reports.
It is currently looking for an intern to work in its office one or two days a week from ASAP until the end of July 2012. The office is only open from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Successful candidates should:
- Have completed an undergraduate degree.
- Ideally a graduate student.
- Have good organisational and IT skills.
- Although a knowledge of the French language is not essential, an awareness and interest in French affairs is extremely helpful.
This job is located between Victoria and Westminster near St James Station.
