Job Details

It provides an opportunity to share stories and insights that will help us find better ways to control illicit drugs and prevent them causing excessive harm. It is translated into 27 languages and has a large global following.

We are looking for a communications volunteers to help manage our website through researching and writing new and engaging content on a wide range of issues based around global drug policy issues. There will also be a range of other roles including monitoring news stories and policy developments, updating and managing the organisation's social media accounts and editing articles.

This role would suit students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in journalistic writing, communications or drug policy issues. Previous volunteers have gone on to find a range of excellent jobs in the drug policy field or as journalists. Many have also used the experience gained to do masters degrees at a number of top institutions.
