ComRes is a leading research and polling agency. We carry out a variety of research, including polls for national newspapers and leading media outlets. Our clients range from charities to professional bodies; from trade associations to NGOs and public sector organisations. Key examples include the BBC, Liberty, Nationwide and Cancer Research UK.
We are looking for a recent graduate interested in a career in public affairs, politics, or marketing to assist in the day-to-day activities of this fast-growing political research firm.
The internship will provide candidates with an excellent opportunity to forge professional relationships and gain experience in the exciting area where politics and communications meet.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to:
Assist in qualitative and quantitative research; help us produce and write reports for clients; support the team as we manage relationships with our existing clients and cultivate relationships with potential clients; and arrange and attend events, training courses and networking opportunities.
The successful candidate will:
Have a keen interest in current affairs and politics; be able to communicate successfully in both written and verbal contexts to a wide-range of audiences; be self-motivated and comfortable in a team environment.
This position is offered for an initial period of two months on a full time basis. Our office is located in Westminster. The internship is unpaid, but a stipend to cover travel costs will be negotiated before the start of the internship.
