nfpSynergy is a think-tank and research consultancy for the not-for-profit sector. The purpose of nfpSynergy is to provide ideas, insights and information to help non-profits thrive. We specialise in syndicated monitors, bespoke projects and policy work.

We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated intern with good people skills to support on a wide variety of marketing associated tasks. It’s a small team in a small and dynamic company, with lots of opportunities to get involved in a wide range of business development activities. Duties will include website management, managing our social media, writing newsletters, preparing case studies and press releases, sending out marketing material, developing prospects lists, preparing presentations, supporting on sales activities proofreading. The post holder will also be expected to provide administrative support to the bookkeeper and office manager.

The post provides an excellent opportunity to gain direct “hands on” experience of marketing in a small company. This post would be ideally suited to someone who had a background, or is pursuing a career in business management, advertising, public relations and marketing.

Interns are expected to work full-time, for approximately six months, and are paid £290 a week including sick pay and holiday pay.

Duties include:

• Developing copy for newsletters, case studies, website and social media
• Event management
• Supporting on any sales activities
• Administrative, bookkeeping and office management support
• Invoice and debt chasing
• Researching new markets for products
• Developing client presentations
• Participate in the development of new marketing materials
