Job Details

Based in Parliament, the Parliamentary Research Service (PRS) is a pooled research facility for Labour MPs who choose to join. The PRS provides information and research for its members in support of their parliamentary duties.

The PRS is a not-for-profit organisation, funded entirely from members’ subscriptions, and works exclusively for its members in support of their Parliamentary duties and not in any party political activity.

The PRS is looking for an intern to assist with office administration, responding to members’ enquiries, monitoring parliamentary campaigns and maintaining office records and the PRS database.

Previous experience of working in Parliament would be advantageous and the successful candidate will need to be well organised, have strong IT skills, an interest in current affairs and Parliament and be able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks within a busy office.
