Founded in 1975, The Freedom Association (TFA) campaigns for freedom of the individual and national sovereignty.
You will be a key part of a small, friendly and growing team. You will run TFA's Westminster operation, reporting to TFA's Director, Simon Richards. You will have responsibility for TFA's campaigns, including the Better Off Out campaign to leave the European Union and the Free the Airwaves campaign to abolish the TV Licence.
TFA is a cross-party membership organisation. You will liaise with MPs, Peers and MEPs, especially with those who are Members and supporters of The Freedom Association.
You will have a passionate belief in freedom of expression, a small state and free enterprise.
You will be a self-starter, able to write well, speak in public and communicate effectively to a wide range of people.
You will:
• Take responsibility for TFA’s campaigns, political research and activity in Westminster.
• Assist with and contribute to TFA's quarterly magazine, Freedom Today.
• Coordinate and contribute to TFA’s online activity.
• Coordinate the educational work of The Hampden Trust and arrange the publication of educational research and booklets by the trust.
• Work with the Director and Office Manager on events, recruitment and fundraising activity.
• Coordinate TFA’s links with other organisations.
• Work with the Director on TFA’s campaigns, media activity, raising TFA’s profile and obtaining coverage in the media.
• Manage assistants and interns as required.
