ARCHIVE, an international NGO based in London, is looking for a fundraising officer to come on board and lead our fundraising events and activities.
ARCHIVE is an international charity working at the intersection of health and housing. We use one basic need - housing, to deliver one basic right - health among the world’s poorest. ARCHIVE works to implement real change in the world through outreach activities and housing construction in impoverished communities to prevent the spread of deadly diseases. If you are looking to gain experience organising fundraising events within the charity sector, then this could be the ideal position for you.
The position would last 6 months and hours are flexible but would require around 3/4 days a week. This is an internship which offers the chance to develop transferable skills and to gain invaluable knowledge and a better understanding of how event organisation and the charity sector work.
Requirements for the role:
You will have a degree in any discipline, excellent organisational, planning and communications skills, the ability to work on your own initiative within agreed guidelines and to motivate a team of very dedicated volunteers.
You will have good problem-solving skills, will be eager to face and overcome challenges and able to work under pressure.
You must be motivated, flexible and reliable and confident to work on your own initiative and take on responsibility.
You will have passion for ARCHIVE’s work and the ability to convey that passion to others.
Experience of creating fundraising events is highly desirable but not essential.
If any of the above fits what you might be looking for then don’t hesitate to get in touch!
