Have you worked with children with disabilities and have qualifications in this area? Are you an experienced Project Manager? Are you able to liaise with school PE and Head Teachers? Can you support, develop and shape a much needed charity project that benefits the local community of disabled children in Coventry? Can you give a 11 month commitment, 15 hours a week?
Your duties will include:
Building relationships with the nine Special Needs Schools in Coventry. Arranging meetings & assembly talks about the Love Sport Road Show. Work with these schools to meet the specific requirements of the children in the activities, such as warm up and their tailored race, co-ordinating with Heads and PE teachers at each of the nine Coventry Special Needs Schools, maintain and manage relationships with these schools, manage and deliver the Love Sport Road Show at these schools, with the backing of the Kids Run Free Team, writing a Post report evaluation of the LSRS; gain essential feedback from each school in order to update the LSRS model.
KIDS RUN FREE (www.kidsrunfree.co.uk) organise free monthly running races for children up to the age of 16 years old throughout the UK. Our goal is to get all children, of all abilities, to do more exercise, eat healthier and be excited about health at a younger age.
