Even in these challenging times, the Royal Borough is driven by one goal: to provide nothing short of outstanding services to every one of our customers. This key role will see you provide key support to the Opposition Members of the Council, in the discharge of their functions as Members. You will work closely with the Opposition Members, particularly the Opposition Group Leaders, in providing key policy advice to them, maintaining the Group Office, undertaking research, presenting the results of such analytical research, and preparing reports as necessary.
The role operates in a political environment, subject to clear probity and accountability rules and procedures. RBWM has responsibility for, and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and for ensuring that they are protected from harm.
