The One World Trust is looking for a volunteer intern to assist our team with research in our work on the accountability of Civil Society Organisations.
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful individual who is enthusiastic and thorough in their research work and committed to the cause of promoting accountability of global organisations to people. As part of our team you will act as a research assistant, conducting literature reviews, helping to draft reports, and other support work as necessary. This internship should require a four-to-six month commitment, working 2-3 days per week at our office in Farringdon. All interns are also expected to help with administrative and communications duties to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
We offer a good insight into the work of a busy, multidisciplinary and international team that conducts leading specialised research at the interface of global policy. We provide a space for all team members to make an individual and recognisable contribution to our projects. Interns may have the opportunity to prepare and publish briefing papers. As an intern you will be able to claim an appropriate daily transport and lunch reimbursement, and we will seek to find flexible arrangements that allow a practical combination of the internship with other commitments.
