The Higher Education Team at NUS is looking for two enthusiastic candidates to support its research and policy work.

NUS is a confederation of over 600 students’ unions across higher and further education committed to promoting, defending and extending the rights of students and to making students’ lives better. The Higher Education team in NUS works to lobby within the HE sector on behalf of students, carries out research to inform policy development and works with our members to improve the student learning experience in higher education institutions. Current areas of work include teaching quality, widening participation, transnational education and postgraduate, mature, part-time and international student experiences. We have a strong relationship with the European Students’Union.

We are looking for people who bring, or are prepared to develop, expertise across a range of areas of policy, and particularly who can support our work with postgraduates, international and/or mature and part-time students. You will provide direct support to elected student officers, prepare briefings, attend meetings, deliver workshops and member-facing events around theUKand be prepared to go the extra mile in delivering for students’ unions.
