You will find, liaise with and encourage activists including helping to set up a new programme to develop our activists. You will also be a key player in our democracy, helping ensure the elections are as successful as possible. You will also be responsible for organising a variety of events for our postgraduate students.
The ideal candidate will be extremely organised and able to balance a number of tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will have some experience of organising events and campaigns. They will also have strong administration skills and an understanding of the role that their effective administration plays in knowing what our members are up to and what we can do for them.
The role is perfect for somebody who is at the beginning of their career in the third/voluntary sector and wants to develop their experience in campaigns and events. The postholder's proximity to our innovative work will leave them with a deep understanding of how to effectively deliver member-led campaigns, how to support volunteers to deliver high impact activities and how to use systems to monitor and track involvement.
We are committed to providing our staff with the opportunity to grow in their roles and put a strong emphasis on personal development.
