This is an exciting opportunity to join the NCB policy team as an Intern – Policy and Parliamentary Assistant.
This is a varied position providing administrative, policy and parliamentary support to the Policy Unit staff. You will be carrying out desk based research to inform NCB’s policy briefings, edit content on the website and intranet, and maintain systems to support the work of the unit as well as regularly administering a range of internal and external meetings.
We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in developing knowledge and gaining experience in policy and parliamentary work as well as an interest in the issues affecting children and young people. You must have experience of providing administrative support to a busy team; have some research experience and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
