Job Details
Civitatis International is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation promoting international peace, dialogue and cooperation between civilizations that works with stakeholders around the world.
Civitatis International convenes private policy seminars for Ambassadors to the Court of St James's, our distinguished guests and members of the Civitatis Global Fellowship.
The foundation also trains young leaders in Club of Rome global thinking and mentors them for career success in the policy sector.
The Junior Associate programme at Civitatis is a unique experience in project management training at our international secretariat in the City of London that was instituted by us because British universities are not giving the skills or experience necessary to help young people secure careers in the policy sector.
Our Junior Associates are young leaders whose skills we develop and enhance and train in new ones. We look for dynamic and energetic people who can make things happen, who can be set a challenge and solve it. Our Junior Associates who successfully complete the three month programme secure careers in the policy sector.
Skills you will gain include:
Preparing and presenting briefing papers to US Congress and UK Parliamentary standard.
Public speaking and boardroom presentation skills.
Analytical and expanded thinking and debating skills.
Communications skills with high-level persons.
One to one careers mentoring including CV review and job applications coaching.
Networking with stakeholders and diplomats.
This is an entry level policy and project management position and not suited for academics.
The Junior Associate Programme is a subsidized employability programme that prepares and assists the candidate for securing a career in the policy sector. The cost for which is £550 per month.
