Job Details

The ISM is the UK’s professional body for musicians. We support musicians and music teachers through a range of services, including legal and professional advice. A key element of our work is lobbying on behalf of musicians.

A number of reforms in education policy are having a direct impact on music education and on musicians. As a result of which, the knock on effect on education and the creative economy will be significant.

We are conducting a cross-sector campaign around one of the reforms proposed, working in partnership with key individuals and organisations such as Julian Lloyd Webber, Arlene Phillips, The Globe Theatre, NSEAD and UK Music.

The campaign is moving at a very fast pace, continually gathering momentum and gaining new supporters. Therefore, we are looking to expand our campaign team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern with excellent word processing skills and an excellent telephone manner who can work well under pressure, to be an important part of this vital campaign to change the future of education.
