Spurgeons employs over 800 people and is a charity that works with children, young people and families within the UK. We are passionate about delivering high quality, integrated and holistic services to children, their families and the community.
We are now seeking a self-motivated graduate to work within our Business Development Team. The successful intern will support the Business Development team in a varied and challenging number of activities including:
- Maximizing and developing opportunities for growth and diversification in services and support for children, young people and families.
- Developing profile through External Communications and PR
- Submitting publications to sector journals and media
- Supplementing our Research and Policy work by creating an internal evidence base through collecting hard and soft data and case studies
- Supporting the team in their responses to tendering and commissioning opportunities from local authorities and central government
The successful candidates will have a good degree or relevant work experience. You will show a willingness for flexibility in the workplace and have strong interest in the work of charities or children, young people and families. A passion for marketing and communications, good IT skills including Microsoft Office and strong research skills are also important to us.
