Twickenham Liberal Democrats are looking for motivated volunteers to join us as we build towards our Council Elections in 2014 and General Election in 2015.

Volunteers will aid the Constituency Campaign Team in a wide range of tasks and gain valuable experience in a number of skills, including:

  • Telephone & face to face voter contact
  • Data collection & management skills
  • Political Messaging
  • Campaign Planning
  • Literature Design & Production
  • Writing press releases
  • Website management
  • Using social media for political communication

This position is completely voluntary and any tasks performed and time commitment given are strictly at the discretion of the Volunteer. Our campaign office is open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm and some weekends. Previous volunteers have found a few days a week for a period of up to 3 months useful.

We are willing to reimburse limited travel receipts around the London area.

Volunteers will receive full training in any tasks they are required to undertake.

You do not have to be a member of the Liberal Democrats to volunteer with us, but you must not be a member of another political party and you must be supportive of our aims.
