A global boutique which depends upon the quality of its research and client service for its success is looking to recruit a smart, curious, meticulous and technically competent graduate to strengthen our research and marketing functions.

In a nutshell, Chartwell Partners helps its clients find the right expert, high profile and inspiring speakers for their UK and international conference and events programmes. With an active presence in London, New York, Mumbai, Singapore and Shanghai we also represent some of the world’s leading experts on politics, international affairs, the global economy and innovation. The successful candidate will (in no particular order):

• Have a 2.1 degree (minimum)
• Have strong research skills, with the ability to generate solutions quickly – most of our research is done online and via the telephone
• Be a confident and lucid communicator – verbally and in writing
• Care about delivering a first class service to our clients and speakers
• Be an active and critical consumer of news and current affairs via newspapers (eg The Economist, The Spectator, Prospect, New Scientist etc) and blogs, and be actively interested in at least one of the following: politics & government / international affairs & security / the global economy & business / science & technology leadership / sport & human achievement

This role is full-time, requiring daily attendance at our West London office (nearest tubes Bayswater, Queensway, Notting Hill Gate and Royal Oak).

The successful candidate will receive the London Living Wage; if he or she is successful there is the opportunity to become a full-time member of the team within as little as three months.
