About us
Sporta is the national association representing not-for-profit leisure and cultural trusts. Our mission is to be the voice for cultural and leisure trusts and social enterprises within culture and leisure and raise awareness of their existence by representing members, promoting their work nationally and facilitating communication and best practice amongst the membership.

The role
We are seeking a Policy and Projects Officer to join our small team. The post will combine the learning opportunities of an internship, providing a full view of the workings of the association, with direct responsibilities supporting the Chief Executive on (i) research, policy intelligence and lobbying/influencing activities; (ii) the implementation of projects providing services to members and (iii) network support and other functions of the management and administration of Sporta.

This post offers a 6 month contract and is based in London (Shoreditch).

About you
You will have strong administrative skills and be able to produce clear and concise written communication. You will have a demonstrable interest in the development of leisure and community cultural activities and in social enterprise. Your personal qualities will include flexibility, initiative, adaptability and excellent communication/ liaison skills.
