Part-time 30 hrs per week.

A highly organised, efficient and friendly individual is sought for the role of Diary Secretary to Edward Davey MP. This position is to cover maternity leave and as such is a temporary position for approximately 1 year, with one month handover. This position is based within a lively constituency office, located in Surbiton, approximately 10 mins walk from Surbiton train station.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Edward's diary commitments in the constituency.
  • Organising meetings, visits, constituency initiatives.
  • Liaising with Edward's Private Office Diary Manager at DECC.
  • Casework as required.

The successful candidate will display meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and be able to juggle competing priorities under pressure.

Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
