It was founded by one of the architects of Universal Credit, a major reform to simplify the benefit system and make work pay. Policy in Practice provides implementation advice, and analysis to local authorities and private sector organisations on the impact of policy changes. We also work directly with benefit claimants and advisors through the website policy in practice (www.policyinpractice.co.uk).

The position will be for between 3-5 days per week.
