NK NEWS is hiring a part-time editor to copy-edit, fact check and post content to the website on a daily basis. The successful candidate will receive a modest stipend.

Duties include:

- Sourcing, processing and uploading news and feature content to the NK NEWS website
- Fact checking content
- Occasional news writing as and when required
- Optimizing content for social media and SEO

The successful applicant will have the following skills/qualifications:

- Excellent written English
- Editorial experience, preferably in online media
- High attention to detail
- Advanced IT skills – experience with WordPress and Photoshop would be an advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of North Korea (preferred, but not essential)

The position will be ongoing and require approx 10 – 15 hours per week. The role can be conducted from your home as the NK NEWS team conducts work remotely.

Upon successful funding of NK NEWS the stipend will be reviewed and expanded.
