If you have an interest in international relations, development, conflict or security then this a great opportunity to contribute to the development of a new innovative company. The role will see you have serious responsibilities and gain hard skills quickly.
As a research intern your responsibilities will be:
-Producing research papers examining the underlying and structural causes of conflict in a number of sub-Saharan African countries
-Research and collection of relevant datasets (democracy indexes, climate and terrain data, natural resource data etc)
-Research into the digital landscape of specified sub-Saharan African countries (future trends, media consumption by demographic, urban vs rural divide)
-Helping coordinate international research team
In addition we will be looking for researchers who:
-Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Are keen to be involved in product development and business development
- Want to be involved in setting the high-level strategy and product development
- Able to engage with external advisors and mentors in the development of the product
