Cytora is leading the way in providing a real time analytics platform to change the way we understand conflict. We have exciting positions available for research interns. If you have an interest in international relations, development, conflict or security then this a great opportunity to contribute to the development of a new innovative company. The role will see you have serious responsibilities and gain hard skills quickly.

As a research intern your responsibilities will be:

-Producing research papers examining the underlying and structural causes of conflict in a number of sub-Saharan African countries

-Research and collection of relevant datasets (democracy indexes, climate and terrain data, natural resource data etc)

-Research into the digital landscape of specified sub-Saharan African countries (future trends, media consumption by demographic, urban vs rural divide)

-Helping coordinate international research team

In addition we will be looking for researchers who:

-Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Are keen to be involved in product development and business development

- Want to be involved in setting the high-level strategy and product development

- Able to engage with external advisors and mentors in the development of the product
