The Liberal Democrats are looking for a temporary graphic designer to provide creative, high impact graphic design, bringing a fresh style and vibrancy across the full range of Liberal Democrat communication channels. Particularly focused on national campaign artwork and internal/corporate communications materials.

This is a fixed term contract recruitment (ASAP to 28 June 2013).

Key requirements include:

  1. An interest in politics and in using design to communicate political messages.
  2. Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense.
  3. An impressive portfolio of visual design work, including demonstrated delivery of political/issue based campaign messages.
  4. Experience of artworking and preparing layout for print, including in magazine format.
  5. Ability to help develop and then work to a brief, delivering key strategic objectives and requirements.
  6. Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously and to turn around design work in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Experience of a range of design software, including Pageplus and Adobe Suite (Indesign/Illustrator/PhotoShop).
