We are looking for an exceptional Head of Communications & PR to expand this key area of the business. You will lead the communications team within NACUE and improve engagement with our key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for NACUE’s press and PR operations and relationships with media organisations.

Achieving press recognition for NACUE’s work will be central to the role, as well as enhancing the marketing effort behind our customer propositions to corporates, government and educational establishments.
You will work closely with the COO and Executive Team on different projects and contracts across the business and must be able to prioritise your work effectively. You will have a team of three report to you.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Coordinate media interest in NACUE and ensure regular press-related activity in support of our general mission and specific activities.
• Be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations programme.
• Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for communications activity, to identify key media contacts and to develop those over time.
• Ensure case-study development and improved ‘story-telling’ of NACUE’s impact.
• Manage and develop online activity and presence of NACUE, in accordance with the needs of different business areas.
• Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary for the smooth operation of the communications department including internal management reporting and reporting to funders on activities.
• Enhance internal communications by gathering information from across all business areas and appropriately disseminating.
• Responsibility for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of NACUE’s publications and marketing collateral.
