Grassroot Diplomat is looking for three outstanding interns to join the team on a remote and temporary position to support the outreach, development and sponsorship of our upcoming high-level event and conference. Internships include:

• Events Coordinator
• Outreach Assistants x 2

Your job is to contact high-level diplomats and celebrity offices, identify sponsor leads, pitch events to new partners and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. This role revolves around good communication and you will be expected to:

• Closely communicate with top government, corporate or celebrity offices
• Follow up new business opportunities and set up meetings
• Plan and prepare for presentations
• Pitch events to prospective corporate partners via aggressive calling

This is not a job for shy, retiring types as you will need to be bursting with self-confidence, love networking and enjoy presenting and public speaking. You must be able to demonstrate a confident and mature communication style and must be highly self-motivated.

Outstanding interns will be considered for full-time employment in the near future.
