An exciting opportunity has arisen within our unique cross-sector charity for a Manager level candidate to lead short and long term secondments between FTSE companies, large charities and public sector organisations.

Working with the Head of People Exchange and other members of the People Exchange Team the post will have specific responsibility for:

People Exchange Programme

• Managing the recruitment process for specific secondment opportunities within WIG’s secondment recruitment service;
• Managing the placement of specific candidates for long-term secondments, shorter-term business attachments, mentoring and Insights (shadowing arrangements);
• Contributing to other People Exchange team activities including marketing and evaluation.

Charity Next Programme

The postholder will also be Director for Charity Next with responsibility for:

• Delivering the Charity Next Programme of secondments to the Charity Sector;
• Acting as an ambassador for Charity Next across all sectors;
• Working with the Advisory Board to developing the future strategy of the Programme;
• Maintaining and building on stakeholder relationships within the Civil Service, Clarence House, the Charity Sector and the Private Sector;
• Organising and running the Charity Next Learning Network (a series of quarterly networking events).

Relationship Management

• Relationship management of specific WIG member organisations to ensure that they gain full value from their WIG membership.
