The role:
The RCN is looking for an exceptional content editor and writer for its website and digital platforms. The role is a key new position within the External Affairs department and represents a move to improve and build on our web content for our 410,000 members, the media, public and key stakeholders. The role will be high profile and will act as a bridge between the communications directorate and the numerous internal stakeholders within this large, UK-wide organisation.
The person:
The successful candidate will be an experienced writer with a proven track record of delivering exciting, engaging and informative content, ideally in a digital space. They will possess exceptional communication skills and will have worked in a busy and dynamic communications environment. The post-holder will be a diplomat, and will build relationships, establish trust and be able to explain decisions to internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will be technically proficient, with experience in using CMS software. They will be an ambitious individual who relishes the challenge of taking the RCN’s digital content to the next level.
