UKCDS is a group of UK government departments and research funders with interests in international development. The Secretariat brings this group together with researchers and other key organisations. Sharing knowledge and promoting opportunities stimulates collaboration and improves the effectiveness of UK investments in development. This ensures the best science is funded and used to benefit both international development and the UK.
UKCDS are advertising for an Intern to join the Secretariat from 1 July until September 2013. You will gain experience across the breadth of the Secretariat’s work, with a focus on disaster risk reduction, resilience, and the provision of relevant scientific advice to central Government.
