This paid internship position provides an excellent and rare opportunity for a highly motivated individual to start a career in policy, campaigns and communications in the not for profit sector.  The successful candidate will have outstanding written communications, be able to demonstrate a superb understanding of the workings of the UK political system and will be an energetic, highly motivated individual. The post holder will also be expected to undertake some basic administrative duties on behalf of the Chief Executive and the Deputy Chief Executive. In return, you’ll gain great experience of working in a busy charity, supporting Alcohol Concern’s public policy campaigns and public awareness raising work regarding alcohol issues.

This is offered as a full-time role for six months but open to negotiation.
