An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic and enthusiastic person to take on the role of Campaigns Organiser (Volunteer and Infrastructure) for St Austell and Newquay Liberal Democrats and Parliamentary Assistant for Stephen Gilbert MP.

This role is offered as two separate contracts that would offer the successful applicant an opportunity to take up a full-time equivalent position split between two roles.

You will be responsible for building the campaigning capacity of the Liberal Democrats in the St Austell and Newquay constituency, developing and executing campaign plans, ensuring targets are met and communicating with voters through face to face, telephone, online and print channels. The successful applicant will also play a major role in the internal and external communications of Stephen Gilbert MP in his role as Member of Parliament for St Austell and Newquay.

Good organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience of campaign organisation and using Connect would be an advantage. Some evening and weekend work, and travel around the constituency, will be required.
