The Conservative Foundation is seeking to appoint a Head of Legacy Fundraising.

Overview:

Deputising for the CEO and pro-actively leading the Foundation’s external marketing and fundraising work with partners and third parties of all shapes and sizes.

Specific roles:

  • Act as Deputy CEO, and deputise for the CEO on a regular basis.
  • Create, lead and implement marketing and fundraising strategies on behalf of the Foundation.
  • Create and lead multiple face-to-face meetings with third party partners and potential partners at all levels; the intention is very much that this new role would be outward facing, with much work taking place outside of the office.
  • Act as first point of contact with telephone, email and hard-copy queries.
  • A minimum amount of routine internal office administration (no more than one day per week maximum).

The ideal candidate is likely to have a strong mix of the following skills and capabilities:

  • A strong track-record in marketing leadership and decision taking.
  • Pro-active and dynamic ideas person; a self-starter.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to build excellent working relationships across the Party and with outside individuals/organisations.
  • A commitment to the values of the Conservative Party.
