North East Derbyshire Conservatives are looking for motivated and ambitious volunteers to join a high profile campaign in the lead up to the General Election in 2015.

Volunteers will be offered direct experience of a key Parliamentary campaign and will support the Campaign Manager, with numerous deadlines and fast changing priorities.

Campaign volunteers will gain an insight into the production of campaign materials, campaigning strategies, stakeholder relations, the management of volunteers, necessary data entry and research tasks, literature distribution and fundraising activities. Successful applicants may also support campaign team members on special projects.

You will ideally have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention-to-detail
• Be self-motivated
• Be IT literate
• Have knowledge of, and sympathy for, the aims and policies of the Conservative Party

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to enhance their CVs and attain varied and valuable political and office-based experience.

The opportunity is open to those who can attend our campaign office in Matlock, Derbyshire and also remotely.
