The role:
To implement the public affairs strategy and to maximise parliamentary interaction with the aim of creating opportunities for influence.
To research and monitor policy developments and to develop policy positions for the charity.
To organise and promote events for MPs, peers, government and other stakeholders and to manage party conference activity.

The candidate:

Previous experience working in a public affairs or policy role and with a strong understanding of the parliamentary process and the workings of government.
Ability to plan and prioritise work and to deliver to tight timescales.
Previous line management experience to include setting objectives and developing staff.
