Job Details

Temporary post, full-time for six months.

Trust for London is an independent charitable foundation funding work which tackles poverty and inequality in London. We support work providing greater insights into the root causes of London’s social problems and how they can be overcome; activities which help people improve their lives; and work empowering Londoners to influence and change policy, practice and public attitudes. Annually we award around £7 million in grants and at any one point we are supporting some 400 voluntary organisations.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person who has a keen interest in social justice issues and communications to support the work of the Trust for a six-month period. The role will involve a range of activities including maintaining social media platforms, research and policy work, administration support, and analysis of evaluation reports. Our work aims to support disadvantaged groups in society and we would particularly welcome applications from individuals from such backgrounds. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously undertaken a paid internship.

Closing Date: 9 May 2014

Interview/Start Dates

Interviews will be held at our offices on Friday 23 May 2014.

Start date - mid-June to mid-July 2014.
