Job Details

International Refugee Trust (IRT) was founded in 1989 to help improve the lives of refugees, internally displaced people and returnees around the world. We are there when the big agencies move on. We support small scale, locally run projects and are committed to seeing every project through. Our projects aim to enable and empower communities to rebuild after conflict and forced displacement and providing people skills for the future. We therefore focus on sustainable projects which support healthcare, agriculture, education, skills training and income-generation. We are currently active in Jordan, South Sudan, Thailand and Uganda.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to help us update our supporter database. This work is vital for our ongoing fundraising and support engagement. The role involves inputting large amounts of data from printed text materials on to our database.

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working individual with excellent attention to detail and time management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in data-entry and preferably working with Microsoft Access but this is not necessary experience.

This role is part-time (flexible 3 to 4 days a week) for a three week period between 1 May and 30 June 2014.

See http://www.irt.org.uk/work-with-us/.
