The Council of Deans of Health is the representative voice of the 85 UK university health faculties providing education and research for nursing, midwifery and the allied health professions. Our members are experts in educating future and current health professionals, and also carry out internationally-recognised research that benefits patients, developing new ideas that help solve some of health and social care’s most pressing problems.

We are now looking for a Policy Intern to join our staff team, working alongside colleagues on the Council’s policy programme. Although you don’t need to have had previous policy experience, a proven interest in health or higher education is a must. You will have excellent analytical and communication skills and will be able to form effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. In return, this role will give you the opportunity to develop your policy skills in a fast-moving environment and make an important contribution to the work of the Council.
