Localis is an independent think tank, based in Westminster, dedicated to promoting localism and developing ideas for public service reform. Interns are an invaluable part of our organisation and work across all areas undertaking a variety of tasks and responsibilities. In particular, we have a busy Political Party Conference schedule and part of the role would involve assisting colleagues with planning and running events at all three Conferences.

There may be opportunities to progress within the organisation depending on performance.

Skills required:

• Graduate
• Interest in current affairs, politics and the media
• Good communication and research skills
• Some experience of organising events
• Good time and project management
• Reliability
• Cheerful disposition
