We are looking for two talented communicators who are organised, energetic and enthusiastic to join our communications team.

We are changing the way we communicate. Our communications team will integrate social technology; be at the forefront of advanced targeted literature; excel at relationship building; and deliver outstanding quality communications to MPs, the media and constituents. You will develop a strong understanding of data segmentation and marketing strategies.

We are looking for between four and six of the following skills:

• Social Media
• MPs Diary management
• Research
• Persuasive copywriting
• Mailing production
• Face-to-face or telephone marketing
• Public relations
• Website content

It is an exciting time to be involved, with the General Election coming up next year, and new technology being adopted by the public. The successful candidate will understand how to communicate effectively with voters, the media and our partners.

Both positions are two matched roles, based in the Constituency Office of Manchester Withington Liberal Democrats in Didsbury. The constituency is a desirable residential area of south Manchester with easy access to the City Centre. Manchester is a vibrant, diverse and world class city with large Irish, LGBT, Asian, Jewish, Afro-Caribbean and student populations. It has an internationally noted sports and music scene.
