Job description:
The TUC is pleased to offer a six month paid graduate internship. The post will seek to provide the successful individual with a meaningful and constructive opportunity to develop professional skills and experience in the field of social and economic policy analysis. The internship will be located in our Economic and Social Affairs Department, which is at the heart of the public and policy debate in areas including employment, living standards and the pace and nature of the UK's economic recovery.

Person specification:
We're looking to appoint a highly motivated individual with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a recent and relevant degree covering economic and/or social issues. Mentorship, support and the opportunity to obtain a publication reference will form part of the internship experience. The successful candidate will have excellent research and analysis skills in addition to: * a good understanding of current economic and social affairs issues * strong communication and interpersonal skills * the ability to use initiative and judgement
