GK Strategy is a thriving government consultancy. From Whitehall to the town hall, we understand the processes and structures that help to determine the direction of public policy, and how policies and regulations can affect businesses, investors and charities.

We have a vacancy for an Account Manager to join our fast growing public affairs team based in London. The successful candidate will be a strong verbal and written communicator.

You will ideally have worked in parliament, or have been actively involved in the political and parliamentary process either as a civil servant or public affairs professional.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• High-quality academic credentials (at least a 2:1 degree in a relevant subject)
• Experience of successfully managing campaigns and engagement programmes
• Effective communication skills, with an ability to advise and motivate others
• Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
• Demonstrable experience of government and Parliamentary structures and processes, and sharp “political antennae”
• A good team player, able to take the initiative when required
