Each Political Researcher is the primary contact for a number of clients in defined sectors. Managing and developing client relationships in conjunction with providing first class political monitoring and research are the core responsibilities of the role. They will work closely with other Political Researchers to provide an outstanding service to our most valued clients.

Aspects of the role
• Provide relevant monitoring information in a timely manner
• Visit clients in person and contact them by phone to build relationships, better understand client needs and show the value DeHavilland can bring them
• Work closely with Account Managers to retain customers and ensure accounts are serviced appropriately
• Drive usage of our online portal by training clients of the system on request and to their needs
• Deliver bespoke research services to customers based on specific requirements and to time

Key Competencies
• Experience of building and developing excellent customer relationships
• Ideally, one year’s experience in a UK political/public affairs role, preferably within the transport sector, but this is not a necessity
• Experience of undertaking research on political issues
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• Self-sufficiency and excellent self-motivation
• A genuine interest in politics and current affairs
• Good presentation skills
