This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fundraising role in the community engagement team at Haven House Children’s Hospice. As a Community and Events Fundraiser you will be responsible for developing and maximising income from a defined area of the community, such as church and faith groups and local business in addition to managing and executing a mass participation community event.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing events and of working in a community fundraising environment or alternatively have a good understanding of the charity sector through volunteering. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a busy workload and juggle a number of competing priorities. A flexible approach to working is essential as the role involves working some evening and weekends; and candidates will need a full clean UK driving licence with access to a car.
