Simon Hughes MP is currently looking to offer one or more enthusiastic and committed individuals work experience in his constituency. Ideally work experience opportunities are offered on a three month basis, but with the possibility of an extension. 

As part of his work in the constituency, Simon is particularly keen to help local residents gain the skills they need to access employment opportunities so applications from constituents are particularly welcome, though all interested should apply. 

The role will involve assisting with casework, advice surgeries, meetings and other general administration. This is a great opportunity for candidates to gain valuable experience in a busy constituency office.

Applicants must possess excellent written skills, good organisational and interpersonal skills, a good telephone manner and a willingness to complete tasks quickly and to a high standard. They must also be able to commit to working at least three days a week.
